Is the opening window treated?

Accepted Answer

Yes - the opening window will be treated with either dip treatment or pressure treatment depending on which you purchase.

Once installed the window would then need to be treated as per our aftercare policy.

Is the opening window easy to install?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Our opening windows can usually be installed in minutes by simply removing the window beading on the inside of your window panel which will allow you to remove the glazing (please ensure you are wearing gloves!).

Now after removing the PVC sill the opening window is simply slotted and screwed into the exposed aperture.

What Powershed ranges can I use an opening window with?

Our opening windows are currently only able to be added to our Shiplap & Premium Apex & Pent models, as well as our Shiplap & Premium Potting Sheds.

Each opening window replaces one pane of glass in your building.

I already have a Powershed, can I add an opening window?

Accepted Answer

If you have already purchased one of our Powersheds and would like to retrospectively add an opening window this is perfectly fine!

If you follow the same process as outlined in this video , you will be able to add one to your building.
