Our sheds are crafted with care, using innovation and automation to make jobs more accessible. We’ve provided meaningful opportunities to individuals who have faced challenges finding work. Since starting in 2019, our diverse team has grown to over 90 dedicated members.
We recognise the importance of supporting the wider community and the responsibility that comes with it. As part of our commitment to giving back, we proudly support local initiatives that promote inclusivity and accessibility. For example, we’ve provided sports teams with new kits and ensured access to training facilities throughout the year, empowering charities in their mission to create friendly, inclusive environments for all.

The beginning
Powersheds started in 2019 with a simple realisation: the shed industry needed more clarity and reliability. Our founders, Jack Sutcliffe and Simon Hobson, set out to change that. They wanted to reinvent how sheds are designed, bought, delivered, and assembled.
Rapid growth and expansion
In just one year, our team grew to 36 people, and we boosted production to 300 sheds a week. This rapid growth showed the strong demand for high-quality, powerfully simple outdoor buildings.
New horizons
With demand growing, we needed more space. We opened a new 40,000 sq ft production facility while our old unit started making log cabins. Our team grew to 80 people, and we began producing 700 outdoor buildings a week.
BSW Group partnership
Our rapid growth didn’t go unnoticed. Following multiple awards, we partnered with BSW Group, the UK’s largest forestry and timber group and member of Binderholz – Europe’s leading timber processing operation. This partnership brought major investment, securing a steady supply of sustainable, long-lasting Scandinavian timber and allowing us to expand our product range.
Growing automation
We outgrew our log cabin premises and upgraded to a state-of-the-art production facility. The new site featured significant investments in new machinery and automation, boosting our production capabilities and efficiency.
The next chapter
We launched in the Republic of Ireland, our first step into international markets. This reflects our dedication to bringing superior outdoor buildings to more people, leading with quality, durability, and simplicity.
